    July 4th is a tradition in Clintonville.  The volunteers and sponsors of Clintonville July 4th Celebration put together this event each year.

The Clintonville Area Commission serves as a link between the Clintonville community and government officials of the city of Columbus.  Activities include zoning variances, demolition permit review and interaction with capital improvement projects of the city.

The Clintonville Area Commission meets the first Thursday of each month at the Whetstone Library.  7:00 pm

Continuing education for small business:

Small Business Development Center.  The Ohio Small Business Development Center (SBDC), with lead staff at the Greater Columbus Chamber of Commerce, gives local small businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs The Edge by providing the business expertise and counsel to help them succeed. Working with local Chambers and other regional economic development programs and through cooperative agreements with the Ohio Department of Development and the U.S. Small Business Administration, SBDC helps new businesses start right and provides essential resources for existing businesses.  Click the logo for more information regarding the SBDC.

 

 

The Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) provides seminars on all facets of business.

Columbus Countywide Development Corporation provides a variety of loans to small business.

Clintonville Commercial Development:

The Clintonville Area Chamber of Commerce worked with the Clintonville Area Commission and the city of Columbus to conduct a market study of the  Clintonville area in 1999.  [View Study]

Clintonville Incorporated was formed in 2000 to implement the Market Study/Action Plan for High Street in Clintonville (and in 2001, for Indianola).
