The Clintonville business community is very important to me. It's
where I want to go first for all my needs. I believe it can only grow stronger
with the support of all Clintonville local businesses and Chamber members. So
when I launched my business last September, joining the Chamber of Commerce was
the first thing I did. As a fairly new member, I can tell you that my membership
has already paid for itself several times over in new client leads and business.
Experience has taught me, as with any other organization you join, what truely
makes the difference is getting involved. I right away regularly attended
monthly luncheons, Business After Hours events and have assisted in planning
chamber events. There are so many ways you or your business can get involved,
and if you aren't sure of the best way, contact the chamber office and Jenny
Smith will happily assist. My motto for 2009 is Change, Growth and Prosperity. I
wish all you the same and hope to see you at the next Chamber event!

I am an independent distributor working from my Clintonville home which allows
me to set my own work hours, dress code and allowing for priority of family. I
am in business for myself, but not by myself with my corporate being my
warehouse, shipper, collector of payments, payer of bonuses, creator of websites
and more. My role is to be the "advertiser" of my company's philosophy,
products, and earning opportunity. Some of that can be done via the technology
we have today, but my comfort zone is more "face to face" relationship building
contacts which the Clintonville Chamber of Commerce networking luncheons,
“business after hours” and different volunteer committees have afforded me. Not
everyone I meet will feel they need what I offer, but they will be aware of my
mission/services and I of theirs, so that when we hear of a need we can refer
and support each other in the growth of our businesses.
